BILPricing

Free for 25 pilots. $19 a month for the rest of it.

One published price, and it does not move with your roster. Cadet is $0 and stays $0. Airline is $19 a month or $190 a year and lifts the pilot cap entirely. Flag Carrier is quoted, for alliances that need SSO, white-label and a signed SLA.

No card to start · No per-pilot fees · Full export on every tier

MTXTier comparison

Every line, all three tiers.

This is the same table the product is gated by, not a marketing summary of it. Where a tier gets a better version of something rather than the thing itself, the table says which version.

Your own isolated database and full data export sit in the Platform group deliberately. They are ticked in every column, including the free one, because the alternative is a product that only works while you keep paying for it.

CDTThe free tier

What the free tier actually is.

Cadet is not a trial with the good parts switched off after a fortnight. It is the flying half of AeroVMS — tracking, validation, scoring, careers — at $0, for 25 pilots, with the door left unlocked. Both lists below are read straight out of the table above.

A pilot on Cadet files a PIREP, gets it validated and scored out of 100, and watches it land in a logbook that moves them up a rank ladder. That is the whole loop, and it does not cost anything.

What sits behind $19 is the airline around the flying: money, schedules held on a bid list, tours and events, and the API to wire it into everything else. Nothing on this side is required to fly, and nothing on this side holds your data.

FAQBefore you commit

The questions a treasurer asks.

Answered with what actually happens, including the parts that are less flattering to us.

Is there really no card for the free tier?
No card. Cadet is $0 with no expiry — a tier, not a trial. You create the airline, invite up to 25 pilots, publish a schedule and fly. There is no subscription to cancel afterwards because there was never one running.
What happens when I pass 25 pilots?
Twenty-five is the roster cap on Cadet, and it is the only cap on it. To hire the twenty-sixth pilot you move to Airline at $19 a month, which lifts the pilot limit entirely and unlocks the gated systems. Upgrading changes what the airline can reach, not what it already holds.
Can I move up and then back down?
Yes, in both directions. Airline bills monthly at $19 or yearly at $190. Dropping back to Cadet re-applies Cadet's limits — 25 pilots, the default scoring model and rank ladder, and no economy, events, bidding, API or custom domain. Full data export works on Cadet too, so you are never in a position where the only copy of your airline sits behind a paywall.
Do you charge per pilot?
No. Airline is $19 a month or $190 a year for the whole airline, with unlimited pilots. A thirty-pilot airline and a three-hundred-pilot airline pay exactly the same. The only pilot count anywhere in this pricing is the 25-pilot cap on the free tier.
What exactly do I own, and can I get it out?
Every airline runs on its own isolated Postgres database — not a shared table with a tenant column — and full data export is available on every tier, at any time, including Cadet. On Airline there is also a documented REST API and webhooks if you would rather pull the data continuously than export it in one go.
What does Flag Carrier cost?
It is priced on your roster and what you need, so there is no number on this page to quote. Flag Carrier is everything in Airline plus enterprise SSO, full white-label branding, dedicated support with an SLA, and hands-on migration. If none of those four are things you are being asked for, Airline is the tier.
What currency are the prices in, and who takes the payment?
US dollars. Airline is $19 a month or $190 a year, Cadet is $0 on either cycle so there is nothing to bill at all, and Flag Carrier is quoted in the same currency. Payments are handled by Polar, which is the merchant of record — they sell the subscription and deal with sales tax and VAT, so your invoice comes from them rather than from us.
What happens to my airline if AeroVMS shuts down?
Full export is available on every tier, at any time, including the free one — you can take the whole database out without asking anyone. That is the honest guarantee we can make, and we would rather make that one plainly than dress a pre-launch product up in promises it has not earned yet.
GOCleared for departure

Start on the free tier. Decide later.

Cadet takes no card and does not expire, so there is no decision to make tonight beyond what to call the airline. If it outgrows 25 pilots, Airline is $19 a month — and the export works either way.
