AeroVMS
SYSFeatures

What AeroVMS does, system by system.

Eight systems, one airline. Each one below says what it does, what it is made of, and which tier it sits on. The scoring arithmetic and the per-flight profit and loss are the real models, not illustrations of them.

TRKTracking

Live tracking & ACARS

Every aircraft on one map, updating as your pilots fly. Position pings live in memory and are summarised on shutdown, so a 90-minute flight writes one row — not five thousand.

What it is made ofTRK
  • AeroCARS, smartCARS 3, or your own client on the open API
  • MSFS, X-Plane 12, Prepar3D and FSX
  • 1 Hz position streaming to the live map
  • Automatic flight-phase detection
  • One track summary and one PIREP per flight
PRPValidation & scoring

Every flight gets a number, and we show our working.

Landing rate, route adherence and professionalism, weighted and scored the moment the engines are cut. Clean flights are accepted automatically. Anything odd is held for a human — never silently rejected.

LDGLanding rate40%
Vertical speed at touchdown, in bands. −50 to −250 fpm is butter and scores 100. Below −1,000 fpm scores zero and is flagged.
RTERoute adherence35%
How much of the flown track stayed inside a ±10 nm corridor of the filed route, at a sane cruise level. 98%+ takes full marks.
PROProfessionalism25%
Starts at 100 and deducts: overspeed −10, stall warning −15, gear or flap overspeed −10, pause in flight −5, taxi above 30 kt −5.

On the Airline tier every weight, band and penalty above is yours to change.

Schedules, bidding & dispatch

Build the route network by hand or import real-world schedules, then let pilots hold flights on a bid list instead of racing each other for the good ones.

What it is made ofSKD
  • Numbered flights with aircraft, days and departure times
  • Bid lists that hold a flight for a configurable window
  • Staff rostering for structured operations
  • Charter and free flight, with their own pay multiplier
  • Aircraft and rank gating enforced at assignment
CRWCareers

Careers & progression

Hours, ranks, pay and aircraft unlocks tracked automatically. A pilot always knows how far they are from the left seat of the 777.

What it is made ofCRW
  • Automatic promotions on hour thresholds
  • Aircraft unlocked by rank
  • Per-hour pay scales with score bonuses
  • Full logbook with every flight and its score
  • Custom rank ladders and pay scales on Airline

The default ladder

Six ranks · Hours · Unlocks · Pay

The default rank ladder: hours required, aircraft unlocked and pay per flight-hour for each rank

That is the ladder every airline starts with. On the Airline tier the ranks, the hour thresholds, the aircraft each one unlocks and the pay scales are all yours to rewrite — add a rank, move a threshold, or pay your widebody captains what you like.

FINVirtual economy

Flights that make or lose money.

Fares, load factors, fuel, crew, leases, landing fees and maintenance reserves all come out of an airline balance you have to keep in the black. A half-empty long-haul on expensive fuel loses money — which is the entire point.

  • Buy aircraft outright or lease them by the day, and feel the difference on the balance sheet.
  • Every hub keeps its own P&L, ranked, so you know where to base the fleet.
  • Underused leased tails quietly bleed money, exactly as they do in the real thing.
  • Low-balance alerts before the airline runs itself into the ground.

EVTEvents

Events, tours & awards

Multi-leg tours, scheduled fly-ins with registration and gate lists, group flights your pilots can see each other on, and awards that grant themselves.

Airline tier
What it is made ofEVT
  • Ordered tour legs with progress tracking and completion bonuses
  • Events with registration, slots and their own leaderboard
  • Group flights visible together on the live map
  • Rule-driven badges — milestones, streaks, precision
  • Leaderboards by week, month, all-time or hub
ADMStaff tools

Staff control dashboard

Roster, fleet, routes, review queue, economy and configuration in one console, with granular staff roles so your events lead can't reprice the fleet.

What it is made ofADM
  • Owner, Admin, HR, Events, Fleet and Examiner roles
  • Exception-only PIREP review with the track on a map
  • Fleet and route CRUD, fares and cost indices
  • Analytics on activity, routes, retention and pass rates
  • Branding, and a custom domain on Airline
APIAPI & data

API, webhooks & your data

A documented REST API and webhooks for everything, plus a one-click export of the whole airline. Nothing here is a hostage.

Airline tier
What it is made ofAPI
  • REST API over pilots, flights, fleet, PIREPs and finances
  • Webhooks on events like pirep.accepted
  • Build a Discord bot, a custom site, or your own ACARS client
  • One-click phpVMS import
  • Full export of your database, on any tier, at any time
RDYBuild status

What isn't built yet.

AeroVMS is pre-launch, so this page describes the system as specified and under construction. The roadmap is public for the same reason this page shows its arithmetic.

No phase is marked shipped yet, so every system above is specified and under construction rather than in your hands. P0 · Foundations is the work in progress now, and the rest is queued behind it in the order shown. There are no dates against any of it: the order is the promise, not a calendar. When a phase moves, it moves on the roadmap first.

Where each system landsRDY
  1. P0Building

    Foundations

The tenancy spine: a request hits your subdomain, resolves your airline, and queries your own database — provably, or it returns nothing.

  2. P1Next

    First airlines flying

Everything an airline needs to hire pilots, publish a schedule, fly, and get scored PIREPs into logbooks.

  3. P2Later

    Beta

Migration in, the live map, and the systems that make an airline feel like an airline.

  4. P3Later

    General availability

The things established airlines ask for before they will move a decade of history.

GOCleared for departure

Read the mechanics, then hold your seat.

AeroVMS is pre-launch. Founding airlines get the launch price locked for as long as they stay, migration handled with them rather than at them, and a direct line to the people building it. The roadmap says which phase each system above lands in.
